Sucking It Up

Someone who shall remain nameless just advised me to suck it up with the fact that my mom is marrying Max. And although some may consider that to be good advice, I however do not. It's easy for someone who is looking at the situation to consider me being immature for trying to prevent his marriage from happening, but they are idiots. They do not know Max. They do not know how stupid he is and how much of a tool he is. He is the worst, and he will never be anything of a father figure to me.

I forgot to mention

I forgot to mention that I have to be especially healthy these days. I have doubled my vitamin doses and drink herbal tea before bed, my mom has been sneezing and caughing up a storm these days and its really just got me worried. I can't be getting sick. I feel as though my immune system could be on the decline, although I read that living in places like the woods should actually increase your immune system, I'm worried this isn't my case.

A changed girl

As much as a really hate to admit it, I am starting to enjoy Buckley's company. He's a crazy dog though. I went outside today to read my book and he came with me and was running around like a maniac. Then he did the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.

Buckley

Max got me a dog. An actual dog, not a stuffed one that can be washed and thus sanitized every other day to prevent things such as lice and flea infestation but a living breathing dog. His name is Buckley and he is a mutt. Thanks Max, as if a dog isn't bad enough you had to get me one that is more inclined to disease and health risks.

After School

My mom has me involved in an after school program because she is so busy now with work and the wedding. She says that she wants to have a wedding by the end of the summer so she needs to start planing it all now. I wish she would realize sooner that Max is a huge loser so she doesn't waste her time planning this thing.

First Game

Today was the Tornadoes first game. It was a disaster.

Not much has happened in the past week. My school had break for a week. I spent my days catching up on reading, doing puzzles and putting together a photo album. My last few posts got me thinking about my dad so I asked mom to dig up to old photos. Turns out she had a lot more than I thought we had, so I put together a book. Mom even helped me. We've been getting along better recently. I can't have her turn against me, especially with Max creeping into the picture. He is enemy number 1 and I can't let her stupid decisions threaten my taking him down. Although I will give him credit for introducing me to a really cool new activity-it might even be my new favorite. It's called a "sudoku" puzzle. It's really fun. You have a grid and within that is 9 smaller grids. For each mini grid, row, and column you have to have the numbers 1-9 and no repeats. Max got a little too excited about his introduction and tried to do it with me the other morning but I quickly told him to buzz off. My favorite days are Friday and Saturday because they are the hardest. I love the challenge though.
